Brunswick Golf Club; Brunswick, Maine. Planning and design of golf course improvements. This project began with development of a topographic site plan using primarily existing survey and aerial photogrammetry.

Harry C. Crooker & Sons, Inc.; Pejepscot Pit; Topsham, Maine. Project design and environmental permitting of a 30-acre gravel and ledge mining operation. RSE conducted environmental impact studies for the permit, including traffic, noise, groundwater, and scenic character. RSE developed civil engineering designs for the project using the results of a geologic and hydrogeologic investigation.

Harry C. Crooker & Sons, Inc.; Whitefield Gravel Pit; Whitefield, Maine. Site permit modification to add an asphalt batch plant to an existing gravel excavation and processing facility. RSE prepared applications for approval by the MDEP and the local planning board. RSE review of the groundwater monitoring program led to a redesign of the excavation plan, resulting in a significantly higher product yield.

Archie's Incorporated; Gravel Pit Expansion; Peru, Maine. Site design, hydrogeologic and geotechnical investigation, noise impact study, traffic impact study, oil spill contingency plan, drainage and erosion control plan, and environmental permitting for a gravel pit expansion. RSE developed drainage calculations using the Soil Conservation Service (SCS) TR-55 methodology. Environmental permits included the Excavation and Mining Permit and the Natural Resources Protection Act Permit.

Pinkham & Greer Consulting Engineers/Weinshenk Subdivision; Scarborough, Maine. Critical path development and permit scheduling for major subdivision.

The Merrill Company; Deer Run West; Naples, Maine. Technical due diligence review and preliminary design of site mitigation measures to implement slope stabilization and erosion controls for a 65-acre subdivision on Long Lake.

Deer Run Lane; Route 123; Harpswell, Maine. SCS drainage and runoff analysis, pond design, dam design, consent agreement oversight, Natural Resources Protection Act Permit, and wetlands reclamation design for residential subdivision.

Preti, Flaherty, Beliveau & Pachios; Moose Meadows Subdivision; Rangeley, Maine. Project design peer review, civil redesign, and environmental permitting for 250-acre subdivision. This project involved the development of a critical path schedule for design, permitting, and construction.

Paul Williams; 83 High Head; Harpswell, Maine. Slope stabilization, drainage calculations, and site drainage design for oceanfront property.

The Dartmouth Company; Portland, Maine. Site evaluation for subdivision.

New Meadows Marina; Brunswick, Maine. Site design, SCS TR-55 analysis, erosion and sedimentation control, and local planning board approval for a boat storage building, propeller shop, and residence located in a shoreland protection zone.

C.S. Management, Inc./City of Caribou; Caribou, Maine. Civil engineering design, U.S. Department of Transportation application, and approval of a federal highway entrance on U.S. Route 1.

Pinkham & Greer Consulting Engineers/Dr. Oh Professional Building; Brunswick, Maine. Civil/site design and local planning board sketch plan review package for proposed medical facility.

Henry Baribeau; Brunswick, Maine. SCS TR-55 drainage and runoff analysis for a proposed parking area.

Neill & Gunter, Inc./Connors Brothers Limited; Blacks Harbour; New Brunswick, Canada. Evaluation of 52 coastal Maine sites for a new fish processing facility. This project required locating sites that met client criteria, determining availability, and focusing recommendations to a limited number of top candidates. The project involved contact with local and state agencies, power companies, real estate brokers, and private companies.

Neill & Gunter, Inc./Weyerhaeuser Company; Grayling, Michigan. Site location and environmental permitting for a new structural composition board manufacturing facility. RSE evaluated several sites in two states, worked with client and state agencies to select a final site, and assisted with permits and follow-up services including preparation of their Pollution Incident Prevention Plan.

Lipman & Parks, P.A.; Patria Property; Turner, Maine. Site review and remediation of drainage for a residential property.

Robert Stolt; Parker Pond, Maine. Complete site design including sanitary system, infrastructure permits, and construction management for a lake shorefront residential property.

Dr. Edward Friedman; Medical/Commercial Office Building Expansion; Portland, Maine. Site development alternatives, concept designs, structural analysis of existing building, and space planning for an existing and future medical practice in a large commercial building with multiple tenants.

Classic Buick-GMC Truck, Inc.; Westbrook, Maine. Modification to site location of development and natural resource protection act permits for a facility expansion.

Topsham Agway; Topsham, Maine. Stormwater runoff calculations and drainage plan for a commercial expansion and use in obtaining local Planning Board approval.

Pleasant River Lumber; Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Prepared Site Location and Development Act Application which included: open communication with the MDEP, preliminary site evaluation, revisions to site drainage plan, resolution of potential wetlands impact issues, stormwater calculations, and pond design.

Pleasant River Lumber; Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Completed DEP Site Permit Modification Application for the addition of a new log in-feed facility and kiln.

Greenville Steam Company; Greenville Junction, Maine. Updated site plan to reflect current as-built conditions and topography of a maximum of 2-foot contour intervals to assist with meeting federal requirements regarding transportation, storage, handling, use and disposal of oils and chemicals at the plant.

William Lancaster; Litchfield, Maine. Designed an erosion and sediment control plan to meet DEP standards; included consultations with local DEP as well as interpretation of DEP rules and assistance with required applications.

David and Mable MacLean; Orrs Island, Harpswell, Maine. Prepared a stormwater management plan to minimize the potential for runoff contact with domestic subsurface wastewater from a leach field.
